Hi. My name is Ana, and I am the site’s founder, editor, and primary author. I have been a digital marketing strategist for over 20 years in several industries, including household items, pet products, hobbies, and finance. This role requires extensive expertise in research and analysis to create quality content that is useful to people.
But, my work is not my only passion. I also have a healthy obsession with cooking and fishing ( and, of course, cooking what I catch). Spending time on our boat in the ocean is one of my favorite things to do. My husband and I are both avid fishing fans. We’ve been fishing regularly for ten years now.
I also spend considerable time cooking and trying new kitchen tools and gadgets. My grandmother taught me how to cook when I was a kid. Since then, I have always loved cooking and sharing my experience with others.
I started this website because I wanted to give people practical tools and tips to help them make more informed decisions when they shop for household items. I hope to inspire readers to try new things and become more confident in their ability to choose wisely. If you want to know what type of cookware or other home goods you should buy or how to choose between different materials and brands, you are in the right place.
This website’s name Shoamie stands for “show me” because when writing an article, in addition to our in-depth research and experience, we ask our friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors to show us and teach us things they expertly know. We want them to share with us their knowledge and experience so we can share it with you.
We focus on creating and publishing well-developed content based on our test of the products, quality research, and expert advice. We never take payments from brands to review or mention their products. We do extensive research and ask lots of questions so that we can help you choose the best options. If we’re not sure, we ask someone who knows.
